Ukraine to Sell State Coal Mines From Next Year, Kommersant Says

Ukraine will seek to sell coal mines with the largest deposits next year, Kommersant-Ukraine reported, citing Oleksandr Ryabchenko, head of the State Property Fund.
Bidders will compete by offering investment plans for the mines, Ryabchenko said, according to the Kiev-based newspaper. About 80 percent of the country’s state managed coal mines are loss making, the newspaper said.
