Nasser’s gloom ‘for local consumption’

THE head of the world’s largest drilling company has offered a far more upbeat outlook than BHP Billiton chairman Jac Nasser’s warning of increasing global volatility and potential project delays, saying he sees no sign of the major miners slowing down.
Craig Kipp, the US-based chief executive of Boart Longyear, yesterday weighed into the market reaction surrounding Mr Nasser’s comments on continued global uncertainty, saying he had not witnessed any changes in the market dynamics.
