SilverCrest Mines’ COO Does Mariachi!
You have to be careful what you promise. When Eric Fier, COO SilverCrest Mines (TSX.V: SVL), first started exploration at the Santa Elena Project in Sonora, Mexico in 2006, he made a promise he recently had to make good on: If the project ever became a mine, he told his team that he would stand up in front of the company and sing the mariachi classic El Rey. In May 2011, the company celebrated the inauguration of the mine with dignitaries including the governor of Sonora, Guillermo Padrés Elías. Mr Fier and some of the team gave a performance to remember!
