Cluff Resources to team up with Varun Mines to explore Madagascar

In a major development, Australia-based Cluff Resources Pacific, which focuses on the exploration and production of gold and gemstones in Madagascar, has teamed up with an Indian firm, Varun Mines & Minerals, to develop precious mines in the island nation of Madagascar.
“We have decided to focus on emerging opportunities and have crossed the Indian borders to explore the vast potential in Africa, Australia and other countries,” said an official with Kiran Mehta, chairman of the Varun Group.
